What is Actifade?

Actifade is both a cosmetic and a medication that is supposed to fade sun spots, age spots and dark discolorations. Actifade contains vitamin C and shea butter which helps to reduce appearance of free radical damage as well as soothe & soften the skin.

What are age spots? They are actually not caused by age but by the sun. Age spots are most common in older people but can be seen on younger people as well if they are exposed to the sun a lot. Age spots are a result of the overproduction of lipofuscin, a dark substance produced by our cells.

Sun spots are lentigines. They are harmless, flat, brown discolorations of the skin which usually occur on the face, neck and back of hands. These spots may start appearing when your are about 40 years of age. Sun spots are a sign of sun damage.

On their website, Actifade is offering a free 30-day risk-free trial of their product. You can call their hotline to receive the offer.
